Meeting of Initiative group in Riga
A bit longer than one month ago, on July 20, members of Initiative group decided to establish the Baltic Offshore Energy Cluster BOSEC.
On the meeting in Riga was appointed, that many provided in Letter of Intent actions were realised. Thanks to Juliusz Gajewski, the BOSEC has the logo. Thanks to Bogdan Gutkowski, the Brochure is printed. Thanks to Aleksandras Paulauskas, the Web site of BOSEC is in operation. Thanks to Aivars Upenieks and Kaspars Mucenieks were received first experience for search finances.
So, the first optimistic invent is – that intentions and abilities to work in direction of creation of the cluster are much bigger and it should be accelerated. Our care should be concentrated to creation of tool – the cluster, whish will guaranty necessary finance sources for common work.
During the meeting Dr. Stasys Paulauskas presented BOSEC strategic self-management system and its establishing action plan. Aivars Upenieks and Kaspars Mucenieks reviewed self-financing possibilities and mechanisms. Hannes Agabus presented survey of Baltic Supergrid realisation possibilities, technical decisions and potential actors. The survey of BOSEC external integration possibilities was presented by Bogdan Gutkowski.
After discussion co-ordinated by Dr.Paulis Barons were approved the legislative form, establishing State and headquarter of the cluster. The public establishment will be registered and head office of the cluster will be located in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
Members of IG approved BOSEC establishing action plan. Dr. Stasys Paulauskas was confirmed as Chairman and Bogdan Gutkowski – as Vice-Chairman of the Initiative group.
