Baltic Offshore Energy Cluster
Baltic Offshore Energy Cluster – a group of scientific, financial, industrial and other enterpises, joined their efforts for efficient development of off-shore energy in marine areas of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, including establishing off-shore wind parks, wave and stream power stations, etc., same as projecting, financing and construction of East Baltic arm of Pan European Supergrid and arrangement of logistics of European electricity market.
This advanced body integrates full cycle of high technologic activities of marine energy related to strategic planning, scientific research, design, producing and utilisations of equipment and its parts, financing, construction, exploitation, producing, accumulating, balancing of electricity and logistics of all kinds of marine located energy sources.
The joint activity of BOSEC is targeted to access synergy by integration of efforts and abilities of business enterprises, science organisations and policymakers of European Commission and national governments seeking to accelerate development of marine energy and European power markets according to priorities and targets set by Lisbon strategy and EU energy strategic plans.
